General Surgery Patients

Please bring a current referral and any X-rays/scans that might be relevant. Please note, this is not a Medicare Bulk Billing Clinic.

Patients with Private Health Insurance will be able to have their procedure at one of the private hospitals used by our surgeons. There is a small fee for the procedure.

Public patients will be referred for an appointment with one of our surgeons at the Upper Gastrointestinal Outpatient Clinic at Albury Base Hospital. There is no surgical fee for these operations.

Weight Loss Surgery Patients

Please bring a current referral and any X-rays/scans that might be relevant.

Please  check that you are covered for Item 31575 in a Private Hospital with your Health Fund. We do not gap cover Weight Loss Surgery.

Please note that we do not perform weight loss surgery in the public system.

We do offer Sleeve Gastrectomy (if clinically suitable) for UNINSURED patients.

We are currently unable to take patients who have had previous weight loss surgery with another surgeon.
